My name is Ginger. I dance to my own beat. Since 1986.

I grew up in the middle of the USA, in the state of Minnesota. It’s where I’ve been living recently as well. Yes, the stereotype is true – It’s cold in the winter and there are tons of lakes. I grew up in the thick of “Lake Country” … “Up North”… in a hand made log cabin on a clean, clear lake. I can swim like a fish and stack a sturdy wood pile.

My favorite artistic outlets are digital photography, digital photo manipulation, making 3D sculptures as well as useful and wearable scarves out of wool, copper sculpting, experimenting with oil painting, paper art, altering clothing, gardening, cooking and writing.

I love to travel — I’ve been to Holland, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Mexico, Aruba and around the USA a bunch. I’ve lived in Minnesota as well as Missouri. Canada, Australia and Sweden are high on my to-do list.

I love animals — I’ve owned horses, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, a tarantula, an iguana, a boa constrictor snake, fish, and hermit crabs over the years. I think I daydeam about guinea pigs, horses, and dogs the most.

Here I’m riding the morgan horse named Thunder that I trained from a yearling.

 

I operate an Etsy store and LOVE IT. ETSY STORE : Virtualdistortion. Connecting with people around the world is a dream come true and I really put my all into each interaction and project that I partake in.
